Lady Celeste, I trust that you've been taking care of that unfortunate beast I gifted you with? I've been far too busy with more important matters to see to the situation, but you did seem so thrilled that I can only assume you've been an attentive foster sister for the poor creature so far.

Oh -- and I feel that I should offer you a word of warning. There are ... quite vicious rumours beginning to spread, did you know? About you and that dark, scarred servant. I don't want to repeat what exactly is being said, but it's nothing a young lady would want gossiped about her. And, though I hate to say it, everyone agrees that the man has been encouraging the talk and boasting about his conquest.

To be perfectly honest -- I think you would be wise to dismiss the man immediately, Lady Lauren. I won't have this sort of ugliness under my roof.
